Latest Food Prices in Banten: Beef, Oil, and Chicken Prices Drop

Prices of several food ingredients in Banten today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (27/8/2025) at 12:07 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were bulk wheat flour, frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad), large red chili, bulk cooking oil, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, garlic, broiler eggs, consumption sugar, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) saw the highest increase of Rp3,000 (2.68%) to Rp115,000 per kg. Meanwhile, corn prices at the farmer level saw the deepest decline of Rp1,333 (16.66%) to Rp6,667 per kg.
