Food Prices in Jambi on Wednesday (4/9): Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (4/9/2024) at 09.51 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, shallot bulbs, milkfish, and red onions.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, curly red chilies, iodized fine salt, broiler eggs, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,330 (4.61%) to Rp30,170 per kg. Red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp620 (1.4%) to Rp43,520 per kg.
