Today's Food Prices in East Java: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (2/11/2024) at 11:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, mackerel, milkfish, chicken eggs, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken meat increased the most, by Rp1,250 (3.59%) to Rp36,040 per kg. The price of red chilies decreased the most, by Rp930 (4.94%) to Rp17,900 per kg.
