Indonesian Rupiah Exchange Rate Weakens to Rp 15,382 per US Dollar (Friday, October 14, 2022)

As of 10:43 WIB this morning, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market was traded at Rp 15,382 per US dollar on Friday, October 14, 2022. This rate weakened by 0.13% compared to the previous day's closing, which was traded at Rp 15,361 per US dollar. The daily exchange rate movement is expected to be in the range of 15361.5 - 15390 per US dollar.

According to investing.com, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has been under pressure, weakening by 1.3% in a week. Compared to 30 days prior, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has weakened by 3.27%. Over the past year, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market reached a high of Rp 15,360 per US dollar.

The rupiah exchange rate in the spot market reached its lowest point at Rp 14,255 per US dollar on Thursday, February 17, 2022. The highest point this year was around Rp 15,382 per US dollar.

The current condition of the rupiah exchange rate is contrary to most regional currencies, which are strengthening against the US dollar.

Following this, the Japanese yen weakened by 0.11 points (+0.08%), the Singapore dollar strengthened by 0.0089 points (-0.63%), the euro strengthened by 0.0021 points (-0.21%), and the Chinese yuan weakened by (+0.02%).
