Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chili Up, Oil Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (16/7/2024) at 10:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, pure beef, premium rice, chicken eggs, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, red chilies, farmer-level corn, mackerel, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,030 (1.89%) to Rp55,510 per kg. Farmer-level corn prices decreased the most sharply by Rp190 (3.49%) to Rp5,250 per kg.
