Banten Region Food Prices Today: Salt Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (20/02/2025) at 10:30 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, milkfish, pure beef, granulated sugar, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of granulated sugar saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,200 (12.0%) to Rp11,200 per kg. The price of milkfish saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp8,067 (22.79%) to Rp27,333 per kg.
