Latest Food Prices in Aceh: Onion Prices Up, Red Bird''s Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (September 21, 2025) at 11:31 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 10 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, dried soybean seeds (imported), consumption sugar, garlic cloves, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, curly red chili, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Garlic cloves saw the highest jump of Rp672 (1.8%) to Rp37,982 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices dropped the sharpest by Rp480 (1.21%) to Rp39,128 per kg.
