Today's Food Prices January 06 in East Java: Egg Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (6/1/2026) at 17:02 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 7 commodities decreased.

The only commodity whose price increased was Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, broiler chicken meat, large red chilies, Minyakita cooking oil, and red bird's eye chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic commodity jumped the highest by Rp200 (0.62%) to Rp32,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp954 (2.2%) to Rp42,364 per kg.

5. Honan Garlic: Rp32,250 per kg (up 0.62%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp31,595 per kg (down 0.45%)
7. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,424 per kg (down 0.16%)
8. Large Red Chili: Rp26,273 per kg (down 1.02%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,386 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,327 per liter (unchanged)
11. Minyakita Cooking Oil: Rp16,809 per liter (down 0.27%)
