Today's Food Prices in Indonesia: What's the Price of Fish?

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (19/11/2024) at 2 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, red cayenne pepper, milkfish, chicken eggs, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp90 (0.53%) to Rp17,020 per liter. Farmer-level corn experienced the largest price drop, decreasing by Rp60 (1.0%) to Rp5,930 per kg.
