Jambi Food Price Update Today: Egg Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Tuesday, February 27, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (27/2/2024) at 09.33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, red chilies, pure beef, premium rice, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, mackerel, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up by Rp300 (4.1%) to Rp7,610 per kg. The commodity with the lowest price decrease was mackerel, down by Rp1,560 (4.9%) to Rp30,290 per kg.
