Bali Food Price Update Today: Rice, Chili, and Chicken Prices Increase (Saturday, April 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (13/4/2024) at 10:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, dry soybeans (import), milkfish, chicken eggs, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level surged the highest by Rp1,050 (14.85%) to Rp8,120 per kg. The price of packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased the least by Rp390 (3.32%) to Rp11,360 per kg.
