East Java Food Price List Today: Chili and Chicken Prices Rise (Tuesday, January 30, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (30/1/2024) at 10:10 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, medium-grain rice, iodized fine salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and dry soybean seeds (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, shallots, chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean seeds (import) saw the highest price increase of Rp580 (4.62%) to Rp13,130 per kg. Mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp2,110 (6.3%) to Rp31,360 per kg.

6. Chicken Meat: Rp32,060 per kg (up 0.34%)
7. Mackerel: Rp31,360 per kg (down 6.3%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,710 per kg (down 0.39%)
9. Shallots: Rp26,390 per kg (down 3.58%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,730 per kg (down 1.04%)
11. Sugar: Rp16,530 per kg (up 0.24%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp16,410 per liter (up 2.24%)
