Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra Region: What is the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (14/7/2024) at 11:41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are SPHP rice, garlic cloves, chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, curly red chilies, mackerel, iodized fine salt, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,710 (3.34%) to Rp52,890 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the steepest price drop, falling Rp670 (1.46%) to Rp45,070 per kg.
