West Java Food Prices on Monday (July 15th): Sugar, Salt, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (15/7/2024) at 09.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SHP rice, farmer-level corn, pure beef, medium rice, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, shallots, garlic bulbs, mackerel, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp410 (7.84%) to Rp5,640 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop of Rp3,830 (12.29%) to Rp27,340 per kg.
