Banten Food Prices Tuesday (26/8): Beef, Oil, and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (26/8/2025) at 12:07 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were garlic, SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, curly red chili, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, red cayenne pepper, milkfish, consumption salt, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

SPHP rice saw the highest increase of Rp500 (4.17%) to Rp12,500 per kg. Meanwhile, corn prices at the farmer level dropped the deepest by Rp1,333 (16.66%) to Rp6,667 per kg.
