Food Prices Saturday (September 13) in Banten: Buffalo Meat Rises, Onions Decline

The prices of several food items in Banten today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (September 13, 2025) at 1:18 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include dried soybean seeds (imported), consumption sugar, pure beef, consumption salt, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, broiler chicken meat, skipjack tuna, large red chilies, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) jumped the highest by Rp2,500 (2.22%) to Rp115,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red onions dropped the deepest by Rp1,718 (4.35%) to Rp37,737 per kg.
