Latest Food Prices in West Java: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (12/1/2025) at 13:47 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, medium-grain rice, broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, mackerel, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most, by Rp1,020 (2.87%) to Rp36,560 per kg. The price of red chili peppers decreased the most sharply, by Rp15,840 (17.05%) to Rp77,090 per kg.
