Price of Medium-Sized Red Onions in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:45 WIB, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets in the Riau Islands Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Meanwhile, compared to prices 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp40.2 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets in the Riau Islands over the last three months has fallen by 26.06%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets in the Riau Islands Province is traded at Rp48.35 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2016 with an increase of 20.99%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2016 with a decrease of -11.5%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in the Riau Islands recorded 17 commodities down and three others up. Sembako with falling prices are Daily Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-Sized Red Onions, Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Red Onions in Traditional Markets by Province, Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Garlic, Grade 1 Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-Sized Garlic, Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Local Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.

7. Medium-Sized Red Onions per Kg Rp35.75 thousand (down 11.07%)
