Food Prices in Central Java Today: Salt Price Rises, Buffalo Meat Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (15/11/2025) at 09.53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with rising prices include curly red chili, red bird's eye chili, packaged wheat flour, Minyakita cooking oil, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, dried soybean seeds (imported), pure beef, large red chili, and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel fish prices surged the highest by Rp1,318 (3.81%) to Rp35,923 per kg. Frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad), however, saw the deepest drop of Rp107,975 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
