Today's Food Prices (27/2) in West Java: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Red Chili Peppers Fall

Several food commodity prices in West Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (2/27/2026) at 17:28 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are red bird's eye chili, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, bulk granulated sugar, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as shallots, large red chili peppers, and curly red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices rose the most by Rp3,593 (4.49%) to Rp83,568 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili pepper prices fell the most by Rp2,210 (5.59%) to Rp37,315 per kg.

8. Chicken Eggs: Rp31,117 per kg (up 0.14%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,324 per liter (unchanged)
