Latest Food Prices in West Java: Oil Up, Fish Down (Sunday, December 3, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (3/12/2023) at 09.38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, garlic cloves, shallots, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, milkfish, broiler chicken, red chilies, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,020 (6.8%) to Rp16,010 per liter. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp2,390 (6.38%) to Rp35,050 per kg.
