Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Chili and Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (15/11/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, iodized fine salt, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, curly red chilies, garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,480 (4.37%) to Rp35,320 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp4,270 (12.09%) to Rp31,040 per kg.
