Super II Quality Rice Prices in West Sumatra Are the Highest in Indonesia (Tuesday, November 28, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 15,070 per kg for Super II quality rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 15,050 per kg.

The daily price of Super II quality rice in modern markets in West Sumatra was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 18,250 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of Super II quality rice in this province is higher; previously it was recorded at Rp 13,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Banten's modern markets, Super II quality rice was sold at Rp 17,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of Super II quality rice was Rp 17,350 per kg in Bengkulu, Rp 17,350 per kg in North Kalimantan, and Rp 15,750 per kg in West Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, 16 provinces had Super II quality rice prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for Super II quality rice were East Java, South Kalimantan, and West Sulawesi.
