Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Oil and Salt Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (9/11/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, medium-grain rice, shallots, bulk cooking oil, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level increased the most, by Rp1,490 (17.61%) to Rp9,950 per kg. The price of packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased the most sharply, by Rp580 (4.77%) to Rp11,570 per kg.
