Latest Food Prices in Aceh: Chili Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (5/8/2024) at 10:41 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are SHP rice, red chilies, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, pure beef, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp720 (2.01%), reaching Rp36,610 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price drop, decreasing by Rp1,980 (7.47%) to Rp24,540 per kg.
