Today's Food Prices (04/3) in Aceh: Egg and Sugar Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Aceh today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 4, 2026) at 14:45 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 5 decreased in price.

The commodities that saw price increases are large red chilies, premium rice, broiler eggs, shallots, and bulk granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler chicken meat, bulk palm cooking oil, red cayenne peppers, curly red chilies, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili prices jumped the highest by Rp7,801 (25.33%) to Rp38,593 per kg. As for curly red chili prices, they decreased the most by Rp293 (0.99%) to Rp29,286 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 16 food commodities in Aceh according to SP2KP Kemendag on March 4, 2026 at 14:45 WIB.

2. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp46,250 per kg (down 0.43%)
3. Large Red Chili: Rp38,593 per kg (up 25.33%)
4. Honan Garlic: Rp36,742 per kg (unchanged)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,623 per kg (down 0.55%)
6. Shallots: Rp35,114 per kg (up 0.39%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp29,286 per kg (down 0.99%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp27,978 per kg (up 0.22%)
9. Packaged Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,920 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp19,027 per kg (up 0.48%)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,199 per liter (down 0.07%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,992 per liter (down 0.44%)
13. Premium Rice: Rp15,747 per kg (up 0.27%)
