Central Java Food Prices Thursday (17/10), How Much Are Chilies?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (17/10/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are garlic bulbs, SPHP rice, milkfish, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, pure beef, red chilies, chicken meat, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp2,870 (14.12%) to Rp23,200 per kg. Bulk cooking oil experienced the sharpest price drop, down Rp1,200 (7.28%) to Rp15,290 per liter.
