Today's Food Price Update in Yogyakarta Special Region: Sugar and Egg Prices Rise (Tuesday, April 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (9/4/2024) at 13.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, mackerel, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, and red onions.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, bulk cooking oil, curly red chilies, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken meat saw the highest increase of Rp1,820 (4.63%) to Rp41,100 per kg. The price of red chilies saw the lowest decrease of Rp800 (1.92%) to Rp40,960 per kg.
