Food Prices on Monday (November 25th) in Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (25/11/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, medium rice, dry soybean (import), premium rice, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,300 (11.11%) to Rp43,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp5,040 (20.97%) to Rp19,000 per kg.
