Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuel Expenditures in Padang Sidempuan City Increased by 0.7% in February

Maintenance, repair, and security expenditures in Padang Sidempuan City in February reached 0.7%. This figure is higher than the previous month's -1.1%. Among the seven inflation groups measured in this region, the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group contributed 0.09% to regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for housing, water, electricity, and household fuel in Padang Sidempuan City was at 102.46 in February 2024, higher than the previous month's 101.75.

Compared to the same month last year, inflation for housing, water, electricity, and household fuel has decreased by 9% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, expenditure in Padang Sidempuan City has grown by 0.7% (year-to-date/YTD).

According to BPS survey data from February 2024, these 11 inflation groups ranked fifth compared to other subgroups.
