Latest Food Prices in West Java: Beef Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (12/8/2024) at 08.39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 19 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are pure beef and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, milkfish, Indian mackerel, premium rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp340 (6.69%) to Rp5,420 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt saw the largest price decrease of Rp1,100 (10.76%) to Rp9,120 per kg.
