Today's Food Prices (March 11) in West Sumatra: Red Chili Up, Oil Down

Several food commodity prices in West Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 11, 2026) at 15:59 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 2 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, shallots, red cayenne pepper, and loose granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities like Minyakita and wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili had the highest increase of Rp161 (0.43%) to Rp37,538 per kg. Minyakita had the deepest decrease of Rp23 (0.15%) to Rp15,745 per liter.
