Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chili Prices Rise, Beef Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (3/5/2024) at 15:57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, red chilies, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, Indian mackerel, shallots, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,020 (1.98%) to Rp52,460 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel decreased the most by Rp290 (0.94%) to Rp30,530 per kg.
