The price of medium-quality rice in Gorontalo is Rp 19,400 per kg (Friday, May 26, 2023).

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 14,690 per kg for medium-quality type I rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, May 26, 2023. Overall, this week's average is higher than last week's average of Rp 14,110 per kg.

The daily price of medium-quality type I rice in Gorontalo's modern markets was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 19,400 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of medium-quality type I rice in this province is higher; previously it was recorded at Rp 13,300 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Sumatra's modern markets, medium-quality type I rice was sold at Rp 17,600 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of medium-quality type I rice was Rp 15,250 per kg in West Papua, Rp 15,200 per kg in Central Sulawesi, and Rp 14,800 per kg in West Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, 10 provinces had medium-quality type I rice prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for medium-quality type I rice were Bali, North Sumatra, and East Java.
