Latest Food Prices in West Java: Salt Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (26/9/2024) at 08.48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, premium rice, pure beef, fine iodized salt, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, granulated sugar, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt saw the highest price increase of Rp430 (4.19%) to Rp10,700 per kg. Indian mackerel experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp4,980 (12.84%) to Rp33,790 per kg.
