11.9 Million Documents Revealed in Pandora Papers

Following the "Panama Papers" and "Paradise Papers," the world is once again shocked by the discovery of confidential documents revealing business deals and company ownership in tax havens. This discovery was revealed by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) in their report, "Pandora Papers."

A total of 11.9 million data points have been compiled to date, originating from 14 shell companies. 6.4 million of these are text documents. The ICIJ explains that some of these documents exceed 10,000 pages and contain passports, bank statements, tax declarations, company incorporation records, real estate contracts, and due diligence questionnaires.

Furthermore, 1.9 million data points are images, and 1.2 million are emails. There are 467,400 spreadsheets and 8,500 presentations. Additionally, there are 3,500 audio files and 1,400 video recordings.

The report mentions that over 330 politicians and public officials are listed in the Pandora Papers, including 35 current and former heads of state. These officials come from over 90 countries and territories.

In addition, 130 billionaires listed in Forbes are included. The list also contains celebrities, con artists, drug traffickers, members of royal families, and religious leaders from around the world.
