How Much Data Was Revealed by the Panama Papers and Pandora Papers?

The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) has again published the Pandora Papers. The report leaks millions of confidential documents allegedly revealing the concealment of wealth in tax havens, tax evasion, and money laundering cases involving the world's richest individuals and leaders.

Previously, the ICIJ also revealed similar data leaks, namely the Panama Papers and the Paradise Papers. The ICIJ first published the confidential Panama Papers report in 2016. The Panama Papers contained 11.5 million data points, totaling 2.6 terabytes (TB).

A year later, the ICIJ published a confidential report called the Paradise Papers. This report leaked 13.4 million data points, totaling 1.4 TB.

According to *Aljazeera*, the ICIJ published the Pandora Papers on Sunday, October 3, 2021. This confidential report revealed 11.9 million data points originating from 14 shell companies. At 2.94 TB, this report is the largest to date.

More than 330 politicians and public officials are named in the Pandora Papers, including 35 current and former heads of state. These officials come from over 90 countries and territories.

Furthermore, the report includes 130 billionaires listed on the Forbes list. It also names celebrities, con artists, drug traffickers, members of royal families, and religious leaders from around the world.
