South Sumatra Food Price Update Today: Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Sunday, December 24, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at 3:41 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 saw price increases and 2 saw price decreases.

Commodities that saw price increases include skipjack tuna, milkfish, shallots, red chilies, and shallots (bonggol).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of bulk cooking oil saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp380 (2.73%) to Rp14,310 per liter. The price of red chili peppers saw the lowest decrease, falling by Rp740 (1.11%) to Rp66,150 per kg.
