Garlic Prices in Traditional Markets of Central Sulawesi Province Increased by 4.95% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in Central Sulawesi Province showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

However, compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of garlic in traditional markets has increased from Rp48,500.

Meanwhile, the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in Central Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 11.5% from the previous price of Rp45,650.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in this province was in May 2019, with a 26.19% increase, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in May 2019, at -44.12%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Central Sulawesi show seven commodities decreased and 22 increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Rice in Traditional Markets by Province, Low-Quality Rice I, Low-Quality Rice II, Medium-Quality Rice I, Medium-Quality Rice II, Superior-Quality Rice I, and Superior-Quality Rice II.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to the price changes over the past month in Central Sulawesi Province:

4. Fresh Layer Eggs per Kg daily in Traditional Markets by Province Rp31,000 (up 1.64%)
5. Grade 2 Beef per Kg daily in Traditional Markets by Province Rp144,400 (up 0.45%)
6. Red Chili per Kg daily in Traditional Markets by Province Rp46,200 (up 27.1%)
7. Medium-Sized Garlic per Kg Rp50,900 (up 4.95%)
8. Chicken Eggs per Kg daily in Traditional Markets by Province Rp31,000 (up 1.64%)
