Price of Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets February 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets of Central Java province is recorded at Rp34.7 thousand. This price increased by Rp150 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets decreased from the previously recorded Rp34.95 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in Central Java over the past three months has decreased by 2.25%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets of Central Java province was traded at Rp35.5 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2023 with an increase of 17.45%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2023 with a decrease of -8.22%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in Central Java shows that nine commodities decreased and 21 others increased. The staple foods with decreased prices are Super I Quality Rice, Lower I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium I Quality Rice, Grade 2 Beef, Medium II Quality Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Beef, and Rice.
