The Indonesian government will develop 14 new National Strategic Projects (NSPs) in 2024. All will be privately funded, without utilizing the State Budget (APBN). This was agreed upon by President Jokowi and several ministers of the "Indonesia Maju" Cabinet in an internal meeting at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (March 18, 2024).
"These new NSPs create jobs and do not require the APBN, and this has been approved by the president," said Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, as quoted by Antara, Monday (March 18, 2024).
