Food Prices in Central Java, Sunday (22/12): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (22/12/2024) at 15.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, curly red chilies, SPHP rice, dry soybean (import), and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, farmer-level corn, milkfish, fine iodized salt, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest at Rp3,970 (9.05%) to Rp47,830 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of milkfish decreased the most at Rp950 (2.87%) to Rp32,160 per kg.
