Food Prices in East Java, Sunday (18/8): What's the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (18/8/2024) at 12.09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), garlic cloves, premium rice, farmer-level corn, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), mackerel, SPHP rice, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most, by Rp910 (3.04%) to Rp30,850 per kg. The price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most sharply, by Rp310 (2.85%) to Rp10,560 per kg.
