The daily price of medium-sized red onions in Modern Markets across Bangka Belitung Islands Province has decreased by 15.97% over the last month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands Province is recorded at Rp57,900 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets has decreased from Rp68,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands Province over the past three months has decreased by 18.1%. According to historical records of food prices in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands Province was traded at Rp70,700 per kg.

The highest price increase for medium-sized shallots in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2019 with an increase of 49.07%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2023 with a decrease of -26.53%.

PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Bangka Belitung Islands Province recorded six commodities decreasing and six others increasing. Basic commodities with decreased prices are: Curly Red Chili, Shallots, Medium-Sized Shallots, Garlic, Medium-Sized Garlic, and Red Chili.
