Local Sugar Prices in Gorontalo Highest in Indonesia (Friday, July 26, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of local granulated sugar (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces reaching Rp 17,850 per kg, as of Friday, July 26, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 17,660 per kg.

The daily price of local granulated sugar in modern markets in Gorontalo was the highest in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 23,000 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of local granulated sugar in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 12,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Aceh's modern markets, local granulated sugar was sold at Rp 18,100 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of local granulated sugar in Jambi was Rp 18,100 per kg, Bali Rp 17,750 per kg, and Yogyakarta Rp 17,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, five provinces had local granulated sugar sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for local granulated sugar were Banten, Bengkulu, and DKI Jakarta.
