Fresh Chicken Meat Prices in Central Sulawesi are the Highest Nationally (Tuesday, July 16, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh broiler chicken (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 43,750 per kg, as of Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 43,730 per kg.

The daily price of fresh broiler chicken in modern markets in Central Sulawesi was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 56,750 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh broiler chicken in this province is higher, previously recorded at Rp 36,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara, the price of fresh broiler chicken was sold at Rp 56,300 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh broiler chicken in Gorontalo was Rp 54,950 per kg, Maluku Rp 54,450 per kg, and East Kalimantan Rp 54,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 19 provinces with fresh broiler chicken sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh broiler chicken are Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, and West Sulawesi.
