Lampung Region Food Prices Monday (August 5th): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (5/8/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, milkfish, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, mackerel, shallots, curly red chilies, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp3,570 (15.94%) to Rp25,960 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp3,160 (7.75%) to Rp37,630 per kg.
