Price of Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets for the Period March 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in West Sulawesi province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price developments in the last week.

Regarding the price in the last month, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp23,35 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the last three months has decreased by 2.6%. Based on historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in West Sulawesi province is traded at Rp28,9 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2019 with an increase of 31.44%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a decrease of -22.5%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods today in West Sulawesi show that three commodities have decreased and 15 others have increased. The staple foods with price decreases are Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, and Red Chili.
