Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chili and Oil Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (10/9/2025) at 13.24 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler eggs, red onions, mackerel, bulk wheat flour, and whole garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, consumption salt, Minyakita cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red onion prices jumped the highest by Rp397 (1.02%) to Rp39,274 per kg. Meanwhile, farmer-level corn prices dropped the deepest by Rp90 (1.32%) to Rp6,720 per kg.
