Indonesia's Daily Food Prices: Beef, Rice, and Sugar Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (10/7/2024) at 15.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, iodized fine salt, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, dry soybean (import), shallots, farmer-level corn, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp720 (2.23%) to Rp33,000 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop of Rp470 (1.34%) to Rp34,490 per kg.
